In 2019 we completed the office refurbishment and bike stores within the Manchester Velodrome for British Cycling.

The project was carried out in phases due to the offices still being fully operational and hosted events were still being carried out throughout the fit out.  The works included full refurbishment to the main offices, VIP area and entrance lobby, including the strip out of all existing furnishings and finishes,  new fire rated glazed partitioning were installed to the office areas.

The reconfiguration of the office layouts created a new meeting and conference facility enlarging the existing office area and forming and installing 12 new windows to provide natural light to the reconfigured workspace.

The boardroom was also refurbished and, the centre piece of this area was a new bespoke board room table, utilising the old start/finish line on the recently replace velodrome track in 2018.  Our Joiners Shop team worked closely with the Client team to develop the concept through to manufacture and installation onsite.

An existing storage room, was transformed into a new Riders Lounge, a space for the athletes to “chill out” between training and the formation of a new bike development room adjacent to the Riders Lounge.
