SIMPSON have successfully completed their first 118 room Moxy Hotel at Peasholme Green in York, with the Grand Opening taking place on the 25 July 2019.

The new hotel brings characteristics of York’s History into the new lobby area, with contemporary interpretations of The Shambles. Two street artist were commissioned to create stunning masterpieces with a black and white portrait of a Knight and a colourful mural in a stained glass theme.

The new lobby has been divided into zones with a working area, reading area and a place to play music.  There is a funky bar which doubles as the check in, beside the bar there are tables to eat and a games section with table football, giant Jenga and acoustic guitars for guests.  There is a small Fitness suite and beer garden.
