Ron acquired the business in 1994 with support from HSBC. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, he brings over 50 years’ construction experience. Renowned for client relationships and fast-track delivery, Ron drives growth through repeat work, training initiatives, and developing the next generation of industry professionals.

An Established Director since 1994, Beryl now provides independent oversight and strategic guidance to the Board. She champions leadership, adaptability, and people development, playing a key role in securing and maintaining the company’s Investors in People accreditation and supporting long-term organisational growth.

Andy joined in 1998 and now leads the company as Managing Director. With over two decades’ experience across multiple sectors, he drives strategic growth, business development, and sustainability, ensuring Simpson continues to deliver high-quality projects while upholding the values that define its success.

Russ joined in 1994 and now leads fit-out, production, and site delivery. A Strategic Board member, he brings deep expertise in cost, contract, and project management, supporting complex schemes and client relationships while guiding pre-construction, risk mitigation, and the delivery of high-quality, compliant tender submissions.

Steve is an experienced Commercial Director with over 20 years in construction, fit-out, and development. Skilled in negotiation, cost management, and strategy, he oversees commercial operations and systems that drive performance, strengthen client relationships, and ensure alignment with the company’s long-term financial objectives.

With over 30 years at Simpson, Mark leads construction teams and fosters strong client relationships. A heritage specialist, he has delivered major restorations including Durham Cathedral and Clifford’s Tower, combining commercial insight, craftsmanship, and collaboration to ensure high-quality, safe, and timely project delivery.

With over 30 years’ experience, Jason leads the Estimating Department, overseeing projects up to £21 million. Known for precision, communication, and planning, he drives cost efficiency, value engineering, and accurate forecasting, ensuring technical standards and client expectations are consistently met across every project.

Phil joined in 2011 and drives continual improvement through our Integrated Management System, maintaining ISO and Investors in People standards. With 20 years’ prior industry experience, he promotes quality, safety, and sustainability, ensuring compliance, assessing performance, and embedding best practice across the organisation.

Matthew joined Simpson in 2002 as an Accounts Assistant and has led the Finance department since 2022, becoming Finance Director in 2025, he also oversees the company’s IT function. During his career at Simpson, he qualified with CIMA and became a Fellow, reflecting his expertise and long-term commitment to the business.

Becky joined Simpson in 2022 as a Bid Writer and became Company Secretary in 2023. She works with the Preconstruction team on tenders across heritage, retail, industrial, education, and leisure sectors. As Company Secretary, she ensures strong governance and compliance. Becky also supports social value projects and sustainability initiatives, including carbon reduction efforts.
