SIMPSON are pleased to announce that Paul Tutty, Contracts Manager attended the Construction Manager of the Year 2014 Awards last night at the Grosvenor Hotel, London, after being successfully shortlisted for the work completed on the Everyman Cinema in Leeds.

Paul came away from the evening winning Silver in his category, which was New Build & Refurbishment £2-4 million and was up against some strong competition on the evening.

“Paul Tutty sliced £200k off the costs to get this multiscreen cinema underway. His organisation and determination matched the accelerated delivery programme. He showed military precision in his logistics, successfully competing with 80 other contractors in the same mall for a handful of delivery slots. Budget, programme and quality were three individually tough goals yet he delivered all three prompting the client to request his personal leadership on its next UK project. “
